Extra Credit: Presidential Library Paper

Go to a presidential library and write about it. There are two in driving distance: Ronald Reagan, and Richard Nixon.

Presidential libraries include a museum-like tour through the president's time in office. From the information displayed at the library, write a paper contrasting one particular element of the president's career (e.g. Foreign Policy, Campaigns, Military Involvement, etc.), with references from our textbook. You are given free reign to choose any topic that you find interesting from the library, provided that you can also find references in our textbook.
  • Completed papers must include a ticket stub from the library visited. No papers will be accepted without proof of admission.
  • The paper must be at least 10 pages, but no more than 20.
  • The paper must include at least 10 of the Bold Terms found in our textbook that relate to the topic that you are writing on.
  • This will be due on the last day of class at the latest (early papers are encouraged, but not mandatory.)
